Board of Directors

Members have a direct voice in the way Irwin EMC operates. Each year on the first Wednesday of November, the co-op holds an annual meeting where the members elect directors. These directors, in turn, represent members in Irwin EMC matters. Each board member serves a three-year term.

Our 9-member Board of Directors is active on the local and state level. One of our directors is also a Board Member for Oglethorpe Power Corporation and a Director for Georgia EMC, while another director is the Member Representative for Oglethorpe Power Corporation.
